By combining ancient Vanuatu traditions with modern cold-pressing technology, our process avoids heat and chemicals. This ensures the potent bioactive compounds, like calophyllolide and essential fatty acids, remain intact — locking in natural healing properties throughout all our products.

SUSTAINABLE WILD-HARVESTING

The process begins in remote island villages such as Nguna Island or Lamap Melakula, providing a vital source of income and community empowerment for these areas. Local families, often women participate in the harvest using selective collection — where only fully ripened nuts that have already fallen are collected by hand. This ensures the trees are not harmed and the ecosystem is undisturbed.

DRYING

Quality begins with patience. Our raw nuts are laid out on traditional racks for a multi-week curing phase. This critical step is a balance of time, heat and moisture where we naturally intensify the concentration of beneficial compounds.

ARTISANAL HAND-PROCESSING

After drying, our nuts are meticulously hand-cracked by an amazing team of local women. Using traditional stones rather than industrial machinery, we maintain a gentle, chemical-free production line that respects both our heritage and the natural quality of our wild-harvested ingredients.

COLD-PRESS EXTRACTION

Once cracked and fully cured, the nuts are transported to our facility in Port Vila for extraction. We use cold-pressing methods to prevent the degradation of our oils. This process ensures our products lock in the natural healing properties that high-heat processing would otherwise destroy — so you can enjoy these gifts of the Pacific — pure and potent.
